Malachite is a beautiful emerald green stone with some blackish – green agate likemarkings running through it.  It occurs in oxidized zones of copper deposits.  Malachite is often found growing with blue chrysocolla  and vivid blue azurite.  It occurs in botryoidal form (like a bunch of grapes), or as a stalactitic mass. The most important areas to find malachite is Tsumeb in S.W. Africa, Katanga in the Congo, the Ural Mts. in Russia, and Bidbee, Arizona.  It is quite soft at 3.5 – 4.  Because of its copper content, malachite can be quite helpful for arthritic conditions, and it also protects against radiation (x-rays, microwaves, TV, etc.)  These highly tumbled pieces, approximately 1” – 1.5”, are $1.00 each. 

พลอยโมรา (Green Agate) สีเขียว เนื้อละเอียดเงามันพลอยโมรามีหลายสี ลักษณะเป็นลายหลากหลายโค้งไม่สม่ำเสมอเป็นชั้น ๆ ทั้งทึบและใส เป็นสัญลักษณ์แห่งความมั่นคง ร่ำรวย ถือเป็นเครื่องรางนำโชค

Tiger Eye is what used to be a fibrous material containing asbestos, which has over time metamorphosed into a golden-brown quartz.  Much of the tiger eye is found in Africa, Australia, Burma, India and the USA.  It has a hardness of 7.  Tiger eye can come in a few different colors of brown, black, and blue.  Red tiger eye has been heat treated to attain that color.  Regardless of color, all tiger are wishing stones, enhancing wealth, stability and intuitive thought.  Tiger's Eye, much like the eyes of a female cat, glitters with a small ray of light on the surface. Roman soldiers wore it, engraved with symbols, to protect them during battle.

Aventurine is a type of quartz which owes its speckled green color to bright particles of mica and hematite.  It has a hardness of 7 and is mined in Brazil, India and Russia.  Aventurine helps to clear and activate the heart chakra and is a soothing healing stone, good for enhancing creativity.

Rose Quartz is a pink colored stone in the quartz family.  It rarely forms well defined crystals, but is usually massive in size.  Its pink to rose shade is caused by small amounts of titanium within the quartz.  Rose quartz is found almost exclusively in pegmatites, found in large masses crossed by veins of white quartz.  Rose quartz is found in the Black Hills of South Dakota, Brazil, and Madagascar.  The very rare crystals have been found in small amounts in Maine and some larger ones found in Minas Gerais, Brazil.  Rose Quartz has a hardness of 7.  Rose Quartz is a wonderful stone to give to someone who has just suffered a loss in their life or one who wishes to find in their life, as it is a calming stone for giving and receiving love.

Unakite is a combination stone of feldspar, green epidote, and quartz. It is an olive – green and rust colored stone with a hardness of 6 – 6.5.  Unakite can be found in Madagascar.  Unakite helps you to get to the root of your problems and balances your emotions.

พลอยตาเสือ (Tiger's Eye) มีสีเหลืองเคลือบลายน้ำตาล บางคนเรียกว่า แคท'ส อาย หรือตาแมว ลายหินที่คล้าย กับลายเสือนี้มีลักษณะวาววับเหมือนตาแมว ในบรรดาหินตาแมวนี้ หินพื้นฟ้าอมเขียวที่ชื่อ Hawk's Eye เป็นที่รู้จักกันมากเช่นกัน หินพลอยตาเสือ เรียกกันว่า เป็นหินตาที่สาม มีคุณสมบัติ ในการช่วยอ่าน และคาดเดาสถานการณ์และมีความ หนักแน่น ในการตัดสินใจ เป็นหินที่เหมาะกับการแข่งขันคุณสมบัติ ช่วยส่งผลดี ต่อจิตใต้สำนึก สามารถค้นหาสิ่งดี ๆ ที่ซ่อนเร้น อยู่ภายในตัวเราได้ สร้างความ แข็งแกร่ง เป็นศูนย์รวมแห่งพลังความคิด และจินตนาการ เหมือนเป็นการโฟกัส จุดให้กับเป้าหมาย ในชีวิต นอกจากนั้น ยังช่วยบรรเทาอาการ ปวดศรีษะ เป็นหินที่มีพลัง ในการปกป้อง คุ้มครองสูงเมื่อมีความเครียด หรือปวดศรีษะ เมื่อสวมใส่แล้ว สามารถบรรเทา ให้คลายลงได้

Black Onyx is a variety of agate in which the alternating bands of color are straight instead of curved.  Onyx is made up of black and white bands, commonly made into cameos.  It is a hard 7 and comes from India, Madagascar, Brazil, and Uruguay.  Onyx is a grounding stone, helping to center and align, encouraging happiness and good fortune.

Brecciated Jasper is a granular type of fine – grained quartz usually colored red by the inclusion of hematite, but if iron oxide is present in the ground, the color may be yellow or brown.  It has a hardness of 7, and is found in abundance in the USA, India and Russia.  Jasper provides protection and induces health and re-birth.  All jaspers are grounding and protect against negativity.  

Black Agate
อาเกต (Agate) อยู่ในกลุ่ม คาลซิโดนี (Chalcedony) หมายถึง ควอทซ์ (Quartz) SiO2 กลุ่มที่ไม่มีรูปผลึก แร่ ควอทซ์ (Quartz) เป็นแร่ที่พบมากมาบบนพื้นโลก ซึ่งแร่ ควอทซ์ (Quartz) มีมากถึง 12% ของพิ้นผิวโลก เกิดจากหินภูเขาไฟ, การเปลี่ยนแปลงและทับถมของชั้นหินควอทซ์ (Quartz) โดยรวมอาเกต (Agate) พบได้ตามโพรงถ้ำและรอยแยกของแผ่นหิน โดยเกิดจากการตกตะกอนของน้ำใต้ดินที่มีส่วนประกอบของ ซิลิกา (Silica) และยังสามารถเกิดได้จากการหลอมรวมตัวบริเวณใกล้ผิวโลกภายใต้สภาวะอุณหภูมิและความดันต่ำ อาเกต (Agate) จัดอยู่ในกลุ่มหินลาวาที่มี ซิลิกา (Silica) เจือปน  อาเกต (Agate) เป็นหินประจำราศี เมถุน (Gemini) และ อาเกต (Agate) ยังใช้เป็นอัญมณีสัญลักษณ์ของการครบรอบแต่งงานปีที่ 12 (12th Aniversary) ด้วย อาเกต (Agate) ยังช่วยให้เกิดความสมดุลย์ทางร่างกายทั้งทาง กายภาพ, อารมณ์, จิตใจ และจิตวิญญาณ รวมถึงยังสามารถขจัดปัดเป่าอุปสรรคและยังช่วยนำพาสิ่ง

Amethyst is a type of quartz with a hardness of 7.  Amethyst comes in various shades of purple because of the presence of manganese.  It is found in abundance in Brazil, Uruguay, and Madagascar.  It comes in crystallized and massive forms.  Amethyst has many healing properties.  It is the traditional stone carried to help combat alcoholism.  It also aids against psychic attack.  It is also a dream stone, and has been known to induce vivid dreaming.  The intensity of this stone usually begins to wear off within three or four days, but can be recharged by soaking in salt water for a day or two.

Amethyst

เป็นอัญมณีในตระกูล Quartz ที่สีม่วง ซึ่งคำว่า Amethyst นั้นมาจากภาษากรีก มีความหมายว่า สีเข้มๆ สีมืดๆ นอกจากจะเป็นอัญมณีประจำเดือนเกิดสำหรับเดือนกุมภาพันธ์แล้ว ปัจจุบัน Amethyst ได้กลายมาเป็นอัญมณีที่คู่รักนิยมมอบให้กันในวันครบรอบการแต่งงานในปีที่ 4, 6 และปีที่ 17 อีกด้วยมีความเชื่อกันว่าผู้ที่สวมใส่ Amethyst จะสามารถควบคุมความคิดของศัตรูได้ และยังช่วยให้เจ้าของธุรกิจประสบความสำเร็จบางตำราก็กล่าวว่าผู้ที่สวมใส่ Amethyst นั้นจะบ่งบอกว่าเป็นผู้ที่สุภาพ อัธยาศัยดี นอกจากนั้นอัญมณีชนิดนี้ยังช่วยในเรื่องของความรัก ความกล้าหาญ

Sodalite, a fluorescent stone under an ultraviolet light, is a beautiful blue – violet stone, a product of volcanic eruptions.  It is found in many places in association with nepeline syenite rocks.  It has a hardness of 5-6, and is found in Germany, Italy, Romania, USSR, Maine, Arkansas in the U.S., and Bolivia.  Sodalite is a good stone for truthful communication.  It helps to remove confusion and to provide direction in all endeavors.

Quartz Crystal is comprised of fine particles of sand called silica.  Quartz is abundant the world over, and they can range in size from microscopic to weighing over 5.5 tons!  Quartz has been carved into sculptures, vases, goblets, and jewelry for centuries.  This is your traditional healing stone, good for cleansing, whether it’s a room or your aura.  It is also a good amplifier for transferring energies during meditation or healing work.
